Hello, my name is Nadja! Some of you might also know me as Tova, or by my artist name / online alias: Stevia Sphere.
I'm a 36 year old non-binary transfemme from Sweden. I'm also lesbian and poly, of course. I've been making music actively for about 20 years now, and I've been quite decent at it for the last 10 years or so.
I started out making chiptune on a Gameboy, moved on to playing guitar and bass in emo bands, then played mandolin in folk bands for a few years before finally returning to the electronic side in 2014. I've since made everything from vaporwave to folktronica to microgenres of my own invention. The music I make is usually meant as background music, rather than music for active listening. I adore muzak, elevator music, library music, etc and I'm always inspired by it.
I currently use Renoise as my DAW (previously OpenMPT, SunVox and Famitracker). I am addicted to eurorack synths and I'm now also starting to buy cheesy rompler keyboards.
I am currently make music as Stevia Sphere and glaciære. Previously I've made music under several aliases, including, but not limited to: That Which Has Hands, pine voc, Yedoma, Dreams on Diskette, Selecta Character, Tovatronica, Y2Kassette, Paternoster Poetry, Delete the Cube, Mallsoft Plus, SteviaDX and Øresund Floating City.
